dark chocolate mousse with strawberries and champagne grapes

The recipe comes from Food Network and can be found here. I’m not in love with dark chocolate but this is really, really delicious.

I had tried the eggless mousse approach before–a mousse with heavy cream and gelatin like the one this iced coffee mousse recipe (also Food Network) details. The heavy cream-gelatin mousse I made, however, is a lot more solid than the egg white version. And after making both, I think the latter is actually easier–the flavor mixture of the first recipe requires cooling, which may lead to unsightly chunks (which fortunately didn’t affect the texture very much).
