Because of my reluctance to leave the holiday season behind, I decided to make Martha Stewart’s candy cane marshmallows.

Here is my glorious slab of marshmallowy goodness:

I thought it would be a good idea to do this in a springform pan, but maybe sugaring the pan first would have been helpful. Nevertheless they still looked nice in irregular chunks, plus presentation is not as important when hot chocolate is involved.
